Dangerously HOT temperatures arrive this weekend and stick around into next week as well. We'll also see lots of sunshine this weekend with a gusty wind. A quick passing shower/storm is possible Saturday, otherwise 99% of the viewing area will be dry and HOT. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s through next week. We'll even see a couple of days where temperatures will be in the low 100s, so please stay hydrated! Well above average temperatures continue 8-14 days out.

Areal Flood Watches have been issued through 1PM today for the region. Excessive rainfall is possible today, so don't forget those umbrellas. A Marginal Severe risk is also present through noon for mainly wind gusts up to 70 mph and ping pong ball size hail today. A Marginal Severe risk is present in the OKC metro tomorrow with a Slight Severe risk posted north of Stillwater.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday and Friday. A Marginal risk for severe weather exists for most of the state after 5PM Thursday and it will last through around noon Friday. The severe potential includes golf ball size hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph with a very low tornado risk. Please be on alert the next couple of days! Excessive rainfall potential exists in the southwestern parts of the state Thursday and then in the southeastern parts of the state for Friday.
