Environmental Preferences and Functional Variations of Methanotrophs in Northeast Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Wetlands
1 Introduction Since the industrial revolution, atmospheric methane (CH4) concentrations have risen by approximately 150% (Etminan et al. 2016; Saunois et al. 2020). CH4 is a potent greenhouse gas, with a global warming potential 72 times higher than that of carbon dioxide over a 20-year period (Saunois et al. 2020). Wetlands, though covering only 2%–6% of the Earth's land surface, are critical carbon reservoirs, storing an estimated 1.5 × 1015 kg of soil carbon (Kayranli et al. 2010).
IL-9 and Blimp-1 protect the transcriptional identity of group 2 innate lymphocytes in allergic asthma
|
Abstract Allergic asthma is driven by type 2 immune responses, including type 2 innate lymphoid cells (ILC2s). Although ILC2s are activated by the tissue alarmins interleukin (IL)-33 and IL-25, these signals do not intrinsically enforce type 2 identity and the mechanisms that maintain type 2 cytokine expression remain unclear. Here we show that allergen-induced IL-33 and IL-25 rapidly induce IL-9, which in turn upregulates the transcriptional repressor Blimp-1 in ILC2s.

They have become one of the ideal structural materials and are widely used in important structural parts such as fuselage frames and stringers [1-3]. The third-generation Al–Cu–Li alloys were characterized by an optimized balance of strength and toughness, alongside reduced anisotropy, achieved through precise control of composition and microstructure [4, 5].
WWP2-induced inhibition of hepatocellular carcinoma cellular senescence via the ubiquitination and degradation of p21 - Cell Death & Disease
Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. The E3 ubiquitin ligase WWP2 has emerged as a critical regulator of tumor pathogenesis through its modulation of substrate ubiquitination. However, its specific mechanistic role in HCC remains poorly understood. In this study, we found that WWP2 was significantly up-regulated in HCC patients and associated with poor prognosis.

Plasma neurofilament light reflects more severe manifestation of Alzheimer’s disease in men - Molecular Psychiatry
Abstract Plasma neurofilament light (NfL) protein is a promising non-invasive biomarker for detecting neuronal damage in Alzheimer’s disease (AD). However, its clinical utility is limited by the lack of standardized threshold values. Sex is an important factor that should be considered when setting these thresholds, but only a few studies have examined sex differences in plasma NfL levels in AD, with inconsistent findings.

Chemical reaction of solid particle aggregates in quiescent fluids
Agglomeration of solid particles in fluids is a common phenomenon in chemical industries such as the sintering of lignin particles in aerosol reactor [1] and the gasification of coal particles in hydrogen production [2], [3]. The aggregates or flocs composed of primary particles connected together have different complex structures. The formation of flocs significantly limits the heterogeneous reaction between solid particles and fluids, resulting in the decrease in industrial efficiency [4], [5].

In recent years, spin-orbit torque (SOT) generated by heavy metal (HM) has garnered increasing attention. However, SOT-magnetic random-access memory based on HM suffers from a low spin Hall angle and high current density. Here, we demonstrate that the critical switching-current density (Ic) in a multilayer structure of Ta/(Pt/Ta)4/Pt/Co/Ta has been reduced by 79% compared with that of Ta/Pt/Co/Ta, achieving a value of 5.88 × 106A/cm2.

Global Calibration Method for Monocular Multi-View System Using Rotational Dual-Target
1. Introduction In the three-dimensional vision measurement system, when using a single camera for measurement, there is a limitation of the field of vision. In order to meet the measurement requirements of higher accuracy and wider field of vision, it is necessary to use multiple cameras to build a measurement system, which can cover a larger visual space and meet the complex industrial measurement tasks [1] .
Seeding Atomic Silver into Internal Lattice Sites of Transition Metal Oxide for Advanced Electrocatalysis
Transition metal oxides (TMOs) are widely studied for loading of various catalysts due to their low cost and high structure flexibility. However, the prevailing close-packed nature of most TMOs crystals has restricted the available loading sites to surface only, while their internal bulk lattice remains unactuated due to the inaccessible narrow space that blocks out most key reactants and/or particulate catalysts.
