ASHLAND, Neb. - Nebraska's latest 2027 football commitment comes from a family where playing college football is more tradition than dream. Barrett Kitrell, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive lineman from Ashland-Greenwood High School, is the youngest of five brothers. All five played Division I football, following in the footsteps of their father, Barry Kitrell, a Nebraska fullback from 1984 to 1988. "I wasn't that big on teaching the hunting or the fishing," Barry said.
