We emerged with one clear winner, Trader Joe's Unexpected Cheddar Cheese, and two well-deserved runners-up. Sharp cheddar is one of the most useful cheeses in the supermarket. To find the very best ones, we tasted each without knowing which was which, alongside romaine lettuce. Our two winners were Ken's Steak House Balsamic Vinaigrette and Wegman's Organic Amore Balsamic Vinaigrette. Compared to ranch, Caesar, and blue cheese, balsamic dressing is incredibly easy to make at home.
