ARANSAS PASS, Texas — Nearly 10 years after Hurricane Harvey damaged a vital gathering place for seniors in Aransas Pass, the city is celebrating a major comeback. The local senior center has officially reopened its doors to the community, something Lonnie Brigmon said means people like him have somewhere to belong again. "I finally figured I needed some friends there, you know. I was sitting in that house alone there for a long time," Brigmon said.
