Buckley grew up in Calgary, Canada, and divides her time between Canada and Nashville. “It’s a good mix of both worlds,” she said.

As many as 300 racers will arrive this week for the Baker City Cycling Classic, a four-stage race June 26-28, 2026. (Lisa Britton/Baker City Herald, File) BAKER CITY — The Baker City Cycling Classic races into town this weekend for a three-day, four-stage competition June 26-28. For 25 years, this summer event has welcomed bicyclists to race the roads around Baker and Union counties. Brian Cimmiyotti, race director, expects 250-300 riders, with about 70% from out of state.
