BLUFFTON, S.C. - Retired Maj. Gen. John Hussey, who spent nearly four decades in uniform and oversaw detention operations at Guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib, is reflecting on the burdens of war, the responsibility of leadership and the importance of how the United States treats its enemies. Now living in Bluffton, Hussey said retirement has brought a quieter chapter for him and his wife. "We're really enjoying retirement," Hussey said.
