The city said a payment processing issue is causing some recent payments to not appear on customer accounts. Officials said customers who already received payment confirmation should not pay again. Those payments are expected to appear on next month’s bill. The Department of Public Utilities has suspended service disconnections and flow restrictor installations.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) — Police in Chesterfield County are investigating a shooting that left a woman hospitalized Wednesday night. Officers responded to the 2700 block of Martingale Road around 9:11 p.m. after receiving a report of a person who had been shot, according to Chesterfield County Police. When officers arrived, they found an adult woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to an area hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Chesterfield Police are responding to a pedestrian crash Wednesday morning. Police say the crash happened off Hull Street Road and Astor Road. All East lanes are closed. Officials say responders are working on the individual. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene. This is a developing story.
