LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - It hasn’t been quite as hot today as yesterday, thanks to an outflow boundary (think mini cold front) that moved across the area this morning. In fact, at mid-afternoon it’s in the 80s north of Lubbock in the Panhandle. The wind has since shifted out of the SE this afternoon, with a lot of humidity in place. Storm potential tonight There could be an isolated storm that develops in our area through late afternoon.
