(WBKO) -The Bowling Green Hot Rods wrapped up their series against the Hudson Valley Renegades by splitting Sunday’s doubleheader, falling 8-0 in the opener before bouncing back with a 5-3 victory in the nightcap to claim the six-game series at Bowling Green Ballpark. Hudson Valley controlled game one from the opening inning.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -WKU Baseball kept its momentum rolling Saturday afternoon, holding off Kennesaw State for an 8-6 win at Nick Denes Field. The Hilltoppers (24-20, 9-11 CUSA) stayed hot at the plate, racking up 14 hits for the seventh straight game, with Lane Arroyos and Parker Coley leading the way with three hits each. Coley delivered a career-best performance, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored, while Arroyos matched him at 3-for-4, adding a double and scoring twice.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Multiple units responded to a crash on Russellville Road in Bowling Green on Saturday. According to witness reports, 54-year-old Kenric Brown of Bowling Green was traveling west on Russellville Road between Morgantown Road and University Boulevard. Brown hit a curb on the driver’s side, then went to the right side of the road and hit a rock wall face near the railroad underpass.
