Firefighters battle blaze at vacant West Baltimore home
BALTIMORE — The Baltimore City Fire Department battled a vacant house fire in West Baltimore on Friday night. Firefighters responded to the home in the 1300 block of West North Avenue after reports of the blaze just after 7 p.m. At the scene, fire crews discovered flames showing from the first, second, and third floors of the three-story structure. Fire crews initiated exterior operations and successfully brought the flames under control.
Baltimore County police investigate deadly motorcycle crash in Mays Chapel area
MAYS CHAPEL, Md. — A deadly single-vehicle crash is under investigation in Mays Chapel, Baltimore County police say. Officers responded to the area of West Timonium Road and Pine Valley Drive for reports of a collision involving a motorcycle. Police say the motorcycle rider died at the scene. The Crash Team has responded to the scene and is investigating the cause of the crash. This is the second deadly crash reported in Baltimore County on Friday.
