The search began July 13 at the Baton Rouge North Landfill. Police believe Minnieweather’s body may have ended up in the landfill after he was killed. VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB/Gray News) — A toddler was found alive and unharmed in a Georgia home where police responded to a murder-suicide. The Valdosta Police Department said officers responded to the home Sunday morning after receiving a call about a man threatening to harm himself. When officers arrived, they heard a gunshot inside the house and forced entry, police said. Once inside, they found an unharmed child and two adults with gunshot wounds.
