Tracci recognized World War II D-Day Veteran and Retired Roanoke Police Captain George Hubbard and World War II D-Day Veteran James Flinchum as Freedom 250: Hometown Heroes. The Hometown Heroes Award celebrates America’s 250th Birthday by recognizing the men and women who have displayed bravery and heroism in defense of America and our founding ideals.
