The 40/29 Winner of the Week is Mansfield senior Andrew Burton. He led the Tigers’ rushing attack in the Class 3A title game. As a team, Mansfield racked up a state championship record 489 rushing yards, and Burton was responsible for a whopping 321 of those yards. He also found the end zone three times to help lead the Tigers to their first state championship in program history with a 40-30 win against Fordyce. Burton was also named the game MVP but was quick to give his teammates credit as well.
