A spate of headlines flew by recently about the five-year anniversary of the start of the COVID pandemic. I’m a news guy, so I looked. I’m paid to look. But, if I’m being honest, I didn’t really want to. I’m not ready yet to look back on the pandemic. I don’t know about you, but it some ways I feel like I’m still recovering. When we in the media do anniversary stories, they often carry the patina of nostalgia. D-Day comes mind.
