Primaries were a bit slow Tuesday morning, but that didn't stop the democratic process from beginning in full swing. Local campaigners stood in the chilly air at the Kent Library Branch to help convince people of their specific candidates. Gloves and hat accompanied Oscar Hill, of West Toledo, who was out campaigner for Paula Hicks-Hudson, a former Toledo Mayor and Ohio Senator who is now running for Lucas County Commissioner. "I've been doing this for her for the last 12 years," he said.
