A CT-based 3D pelvic anatomy dataset of 99 healthy Chinese subjects for anatomical landmark detection
Abstract Accurate automated pelvic anatomical landmark identification for intelligent surgical applications has been limited by the lack of high-quality, standardised 3D data. To address this need, we developed a curated dataset of 99 high-resolution pelvic CT cases from Chinese subjects, comprising CT volumes, segmentation masks, 57 clinically defined anatomical landmark coordinates, pelvic surface meshes (STL files), and reference point clouds.
Risk prediction for 12-month post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence to support survivorship care: development and same-center temporal validation of a perioperative model
Abstract Background: Persistent post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence (PPI) is a survivorship problem after radical prostatectomy with continuing implications for daily function, rehabilitation, follow-up, and supportive care. Risk stratification could help target these services, but uncommon events constrain model complexity and require evaluation beyond discrimination.

Negative fat talk and sleep quality among Chinese college students: associations involving wellbeing and loneliness
Abstract Background: This study examined the relationship between negative fat talk and poor sleep quality in Chinese college students, and tested the roles of wellbeing and loneliness in this association. Methods: A cross-sectional survey included 2,056 students in Jiangxi Province, China. Negative fat talk, wellbeing, loneliness, physical activity, and sleep quality were assessed with the BTS, WHO-5, ULS-8, PARS-3, and PSQI, respectively.
Depletion of davemaoite in Earth’s ambient lower mantle
Abstract The mineralogy of the Earth’s lower mantle is fundamental to understanding the planet’s formation, composition, evolution, and dynamics. However, uncertainties in the elastic properties and phase transitions of CaSiO₃ davemaoite—the third most abundant phase in a pyrolitic lower mantle—have hindered quantitative links between seismic observations and lower-mantle mineralogy.

Targeting RBM41-mediated CKMT1B mRNA stability triggers disulfidptosis and suppresses tongue squamous cell carcinoma
Abstract Clarifying the mechanisms by which metabolic stress induces cell death in tumor cells is essential for the development of effective therapies targeting tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC). In this study, we demonstrate that the RNA-binding motif protein 41 (RBM41) stabilizes CKMT1B mRNA through its RRM1 domain, thereby conferring resistance to disulfidptosis under conditions of glucose deprivation in TSCC.
Plasma protein GDF15 has a good predictive potential for the kidney complications of type 2 diabetes
Abstract Introduction and aims: Complications of type 2 diabetes are a primary cause of public health challenges in the field of diabetes. The emergence of metabolomics and proteomics provides a direct perspective for revealing the mechanisms of metabolic diseases. Our research aims to explore the relationship between omics components and complications, as well as their clinical predictive performance.
Interfacial anionic competition-driven electrochemical evolution in FeF 3 conversion electrodes
Abstract Iron trifluoride demonstrates poor performance as a multi-electron conversion positive electrode in conventional ester-based electrolytes, yet exhibits higher capacity retention in ether-based electrolytes. This contrast has long remained unresolved in high-energy-density metal fluoride-lithium batteries. Here, we show that the electrolyte-dependent behavior originates from interfacial anion competition within the cathode-electrolyte interphase.

Loneliness, living habits and hypertension among people over 60 years old in rural areas of Northeast China: Across-sectional study
1 Introduction According to 2018 data from the World Health Organization, approximately 26.4% of the global population has high blood pressure, with approximately 60% of these individuals residing in developing countries, including China (1). High blood pressure is a significant contributor to the global cardiovascular disease epidemic, leading to various complications such as stroke, acute coronary syndrome, chronic heart failure, and chronic kidney disease (2).

Elasticity of davemaoite as a primary contributor to lower-mantle heterogeneities
Editor’s summary Seismic images of Earth’s lower mantle revealed two continental-scale regions with anomalously slow shear-wave velocities rising from the core-mantle boundary. A head-to-head NLR gene pair from wild emmer confers stripe rust resistance in wheat - Nature Genetics
Abstract Wheat stripe rust poses a major threat to global food security. Discovery of disease resistance genes from wild relatives enables multigene stacking that could enhance durability. Here we use map-based cloning and long-read sequencing to isolate two adjacent nucleotide-binding and leucine-rich repeat (NLR) receptors from wild emmer wheat.

The ultralow viscosity of volatile-rich kimberlite magma: Implications for the water content of primitive kimberlite melts
Abstract The eruption of deeply sourced kimberlite magma offers the fastest route to bring deep-seated volatiles back to the Earth’s surface. However, the viscosity of kimberlite magma, a factor governing its migration and eruption dynamics within Earth, remains poorly constrained. We conducted synchrotron in situ falling sphere viscometry experiments to examine kimberlite magma with different volatile contents (0 to 5 wt % H2O and 2 to 8 wt % CO2) under high pressure-temperature conditions.

Discovery of a Novel Intron in US10/US11/US12 of HSV-1 Strain 17
1. Introduction Herpes Simplex Virus type 1 (HSV-1) is a double-stranded DNA (~152 Kb) virus belonging to the Alphaherpesvirinae subfamily of the Orthoherpesviridae family [1,2]. HSV-1 infects humans and causes a variety of clinical manifestations, including neonatal herpes, corneal blindness, herpetic whitlow, meningitis, encephalitis, and genital herpes [3,4]. With the advance of high-throughput sequencing technologies, an increased number of HSV-1 strains have been sequenced.

Fragment-pair based drug molecule solubility prediction through attention mechanism
1 Introduction Drug R&D (Research and Development) is a complex process involving many disciplines and technological fields, mainly including medicine, chemistry, biology, data science (David et al., 2009; Fleming, 2018). Drug discovery is the first step in the entire drug R&D process, the goal of which is to find molecules that can treat a certain disease.
Body image construction and mental health levels among college students: a data survey of Chinese university students
Introduction In China, an intriguing phenomenon has emerged among college students, manifesting in their various online “photo-sharing” activities that have left netizens astounded, proclaiming that “going to college is akin to undergoing plastic surgery.” The stark contrast between their initial “outdated” appearance upon entering college and their subsequent “fashionable” transformation upon graduation has sparked fervent discussions and inspired countless imitations among internet users.
Cloning of the wheat leaf rust resistance gene Lr47 introgressed from Aegilops speltoides - Nature Communications
Abstract Leaf rust, caused by Puccinia triticina Eriksson (Pt), is one of the most severe foliar diseases of wheat. Breeding for leaf rust resistance is a practical and sustainable method to control this devastating disease. Here, we report the identification of Lr47, a broadly effective leaf rust resistance gene introgressed into wheat from Aegilops speltoides.

Identification of Time-Varying Parameters of Distributed Hydrological Model in Wei River Basin on Loess Plateau in the Changing Environment
Abstract : In the watershed hydrological model, the parameters represent the characteristics of the watershed. Usually, the parameters are assumed to be constant in the stable environment. However, in the changing environment, the parameters may change and the constant parameters would not represent the change of the characteristics of the runoff generation and routing in the watershed.
