Fast projection onto the top- k -sum constraint
Abstract This paper develops an efficient algorithm for computing the Euclidean projection onto the top-k-sum constraint, a key operation in financial risk management and matrix optimization problems. Existing projection methods rely on sorting and therefore incur an initial O(nlogn) complexity, which limits their scalability in high-dimensional settings.

ZIC2 affects oral squamous cell carcinoma stemness by regulating glycerophosphocholine metabolism via LYPLA2
Abstract Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a common malignant tumor of the head and neck. Early-stage OSCC is primarily treated using surgery; advanced-stage OSCC is managed using a multidisciplinary approach, including surgery combined with adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy. However, tumor recurrence and metastasis remain major challenges, with a 5-year survival rate of ~50%. Dysregulation of transcription factors is associated with the pathogenesis of various cancers.

How the Dominant Reading Direction Changes Parafoveal Processing: A Combined EEG/Eye‐Tracking Study
1 Introduction A neurocognitive framework proposing that the brain and mind are shaped by sociocultural experience has gained much attention (Han and Northoff 2008). Writing systems and reading direction, as aspects of sociocultural experience, are considered important in shaping neurocognitive networks (Kazandjian and Chokron 2008). Cultures have developed different writing systems that vary in terms of their reading direction.
Frontiers | Development of a colloidal gold immunochromatographic strip for the rapid detection of fowl adenovirus serotype 4 using prepared penton protein-specific monoclonal antibodies
Abstract Fowl adenovirus serotype 4 (FAdV-4) is the primary pathogen responsible for hydropericardium-hepatitis syndrome (HHS) and is associated with high mortality rates (20–80%) in 3–6-week-old chickens. This study aimed to develop a rapid and specific method for detecting FAdV-4. Two monoclonal antibodies (mAbs 6B3 and 8G11) against the FAdV-4 penton protein were successfully generated using hybridoma technology, both of which exhibited high titers (1:100,000) and strong serotype specificity.

Quantum correlation-enhanced dual-comb spectroscopy - Light: Science & Applications
Abstract Dual-comb spectroscopy (DCS) is a powerful technique for spectroscopic sensing, offering exceptional spectral bandwidth, resolution, precision, and speed. However, its performance is fundamentally limited by quantum noise inherent to coherent-state optical combs. Here, we overcome this barrier by introducing quantum correlation-enhanced DCS using correlated twin combs generated via seeded four-wave mixing.
