COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine is urging his successor to leave the state's income tax alone. Year after year, Ohio has whittled down that state income tax. "For four straight budgets, I've signed four budgets — every one of the budgets we have reduced the income tax in the state of Ohio," DeWine said. The governor is saying enough is enough. "The issue of income tax never comes up when we're talking to businesses," he said, adding that companies care about the workforce and water.

The federal lawsuit, filed on behalf of the 2-year-old Wednesday, accuses Miller and his attorney Aaron Minc of having "recklessly published and disclosed to the world a nude image of the child depicting her genitalia." Fighting illegal immigration was a rallying cry for the GOP in the 2024 election. As the midterms approach, Republican Gov. Mike DeWine is pleading with the president and his administration to allow Ohio to keep its immigrant population. “We need some immigrants to come in here,” DeWine told us Wednesday. DeWine is once again calling on President Donald Trump regarding immigration policies, this time urging him to focus on bipartisan reform.
