SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - High temperatures peaked in the 90s in Sioux City each of the last four days. That streak will end today as highs fall closer to average due to a chance of rain. FRIDAY Scattered showers will be concentrated in western Siouxland this morning. Isolated showers and rumbles of thunder are possible across the entire area this afternoon and evening. The rain will not be widespread though, there will still be plenty of dry time today, mainly in northwest Iowa.

One more hot day Thursday, rain chances increase tonight

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Every day this week has featured highs in the low 90s and one more day could be added Thursday. Extra cloud cover means some communities could stay in the upper 80s, regardless, still very warm! THURSDAY Hot weather continues today as temperatures peak in the upper 80s to near 90. A breeze will return with wind gusts up to 25mph possible. Extra cloud cover will make for a mostly cloudy sky with occasional peeks of sun possible.

Hot weather continues Wednesday, few thundershowers possible late day

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Tuesday was a sunny and hot day followed by a few storms in the evening. Wednesday will be very similar as temperatures peak near 90 and there is another chance for pop-up showers. WEDNESDAY Mostly sunny and hot. Highs near 90 with not much wind (5-10mph). Between 3pm and 9pm, a few showers and rumbles of thunder are possible, mainly along and north of Highway 20. Gusty winds near 45mph are possible. Rain totals could near a quarter inch at most.
