The Portland Sea Dogs snapped a three-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over the Hartford Yard Goats on Sunday in Portland. The Sea Dogs improve to 29-27, 1 1/2 games behind the Yard Goats in the Eastern League’s Northeast Division with 12 games to go in the first half of the season. Hartford falls to 30-25. Portland starting pitcher Gage Ziehl surrendered just one run in six innings and struck out eight Hartford batters en route to his second win of the year.
