Unlocking possibility today with tomorrow’s ideas 1m I was told by an industry recruiter recently that less than 15% of fashion industry graduates ever get to work in fashion - but universities are still pumping out - and charging for - fashion courses. (I think the figures are worse for architects). The recruiter also told me that colleges with fashion degrees also count ex-graduates who end up working in fashion stores as industry placements to bump up their 'success' stats.

Over coffee yesterday, a friend told me about a project where they were trying to get AI to auto-dub TV shows into multiple languages. "We can't quite get the intonation right no matter how hard we try." When I asked why they didn't just leave it to actors he told me they were too expensive.
