I wonder if AI can understand SPORTS. Could a coach on the sidelines use AI to call in the next play? Could you beat the sports books by using AI to predict to outcome of sports contests? Could the sports books use AI to set the odds on games and events - if yes, could the "best" AI win at predicting outcomes? Could there be sport events where the actual teams did not even play - just the two AI's would somehow go "head to head".

Anyone else bored by Scott's apparent mancrush on Ye? Outside of Scott talking about him, Ye plays no part whatsoever in my daily life. I don't care what he says or what others say about him. His so called "art" is totally meaningless and useless (to me). I don't care for his music or fashion. I find nothing useful in his influence. No one I know has any interest in Ye's various antics. I understand that Scott enjoys interpreting Ye's various actions, but to what end?

Chicago Deep-Dish Pizza
I used rapid rise yeast which made my crust puffier than expected. So I pinched off part of the main dough and created a second layer in the pizza. Loaded this up with spicy Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, red and yellow peppers, and all of the cheeses. For my first time making this I’m super excited to have a new kind of pizza to make to break away from standard pizza. I’ll be sure to load up more sauce next time too. This wasn’t difficult like I’d built up in my head.
Silva Film Music - Positive Feedback
In Positive Feedback Issue 31 (May/June 2007) I reviewed three CDs from Silva Film Music (HERE). Silva Film licenses the rights to film scores and re-records the music using the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. In my review of 2007 I was impressed by the quality of the performances, the excellent recording and mastering that results in the excellent sound quality of the CDs, and the choice of music selected.
Ronn McFarlane, The Celtic Flute
The lute is an ancient instrument with its forebearers having been traced back to 3100 BCE in Mesopotamia. Though a popular instrument during the Middle Ages, the lute reached its zenith during the Renaissance. While gradually falling out of favor after the Renaissance, the lute was still being widely used during the Baroque period. By the late 1700s the lute had pretty much disappeared from the music world.
Strength and comfort during life’s changes
As I’ve enjoyed the onset of summer, I’ve been reminded of a very different summer years ago that was anything but enjoyable – the summer after I graduated from high school. Everything in my life was about to change permanently, and I had no idea what the changes would bring.
