Ex-Michigan coach Sherrone Moore reportedly detained by police after being fired for 'inappropriate relationship'

Sherrone Moore's time at Michigan is suddenly over. The Wolverines fired their head football coach on Wednesday afternoon. Michigan fired Moore for cause, too, due to an investigation that uncovered off-the-field transgressions. Michigan confirmed the move on Wednesday afternoon, and said Moore "engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member." Further specifics of that relationship, or when the investigation actually started, are not known.

New attendance record set at Agribition

REGINA — The 54th edition of Canadian Western Agribition is one for the record books. A new attendance benchmark was set for this year’s event, with 151,037 visitors coming through the gates at REAL District. Agribition was held Nov. 24-29. It breaks the previous mark of approximately 145,000 in 2024.

LSU formally fires ex-coach Brian Kelly, agrees to pay him his full buyout after legal battle

LSU sent Kelly a formal termination letter on Wednesday and said that they fired him “without cause,” according to Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger. LSU has said that it will pay Kelly’s $54 million buyout over the next six years, so long as Kelly makes a “good-faith, reasonable and sustained” effort to obtain another job. The Tigers first split with Kelly on Oct.
