ELBERTA, Utah (ABC4) — As the Iron Fire rages on in Juab County, having burned just under 40,000 acres, Eureka residents are getting their first glimpse at the damage done to their town in the days since they evacuated. The Iron Fire sparked over the weekend and has since burned 37,172 acres with only 23% containment. Residents of the town of Eureka were forced to abandon their homes and evacuate the town as the blaze threatened.

Three women were allegedly murdered by Ivan Miller on Wednesday night, two of whom were beloved residents of Torrey. Mayor of Torrey, Mickey Wright, spoke to ABC4 on Friday about the moment he knew something was wrong and the emotions that followed. “The first phone call I got was a good friend, [who asked] ‘Have you heard about a murder?’ and I was like, ‘What? No!'” Wright said.

Wayne Community Health Center offers support after triple homicide

BICKNELL, Utah (ABC4) — Following the triple homicide in Wayne County on Wednesday, resources are being offered to help residents cope with heartache and grief. The Wayne Community Health Center, the only health facility within approximately 60 miles of Bicknell, Utah, is encouraging anyone affected by the tragedy to stop by and access support. “It’s a loss of innocence on this community. It’s a loss of loved ones,” said Marsee MacDonald with the Central Utah Counseling Center.
