4 Out of the Box Thanksgiving Side Dishes You Must Try in 2024 Original
Ah Thanksgiving. A time for family and friends gathered around the table sharing what they appreciate and are grateful for. A time for your Uncle Lou to make a snide remark about your career choice and your sister to flash her giant engagement ring reminding you just how single you’ve been for the last 5 years. The one saving grace?
19 Photos of Simone Biles From the 2024 Olympics in Paris
If this was the last time we’ve seen Simone Biles in the Olympic Games, leaving with yet another medal around her neck was quite the way to go out. (See full gallery below.) Biles, who is 27 years old now, won four medals in the Paris games, three Gold and one Silver. The Silver medal came in her final event, the individual floor exercise. It’s an event she has owned – quite literally – but she was slightly off her game in the final. Still, she now has 11 medals in her Olympic history.

Austin Snell, Drew Parker and Josh Ross
Another Monday means another playlist, and the Country music Gods have blessed us with more amazing new music! I’m in my sad-girl era for whatever reason. So I naturally gravitated towards some love and breakup songs this week. Which is really working out great for me… Austin Snell is a young, new artist out of Dublin, GA. He has a lot of dreams and aspirations, but what I love most is his dedication to remaining himself and not letting any of the hype get to him.
Kenny Chesney in North Carolina Edition
In honor of Kenny Chesney bringing his Sun Goes Down Tour to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte this Saturday, today’s Monday playlist is ALL Kenny Chesney songs! I like to keep these playlists quick and simple with 3 songs each and let me tell you what, it is VERY hard to narrow down all of Kenny’s biggest hits into just 3. But I tried my best to go for the songs that just hit me all up in the feels. Beer In Mexico is always just a party song! How could you not want to get up and dance along?
Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney and Megan Moroney
Happy Monday! It’s way too soon in the year for us to be having these Summer temperatures, but on the upside, it has put me in the mood to go kayaking at the lake! Nothing like a float day with good friends and good tunes! So let’s start this playlist on a high note with the new Zac Brown Band song that has me craving for those hot Summer days on the water! Tie Up is the latest single from the band and is giving Doobie Brothers vibes and I don’t mind it.

5 of the Best 90s Movies You Probably Forgot Existed At All
There’s nothing better than a good comfort movie. And for me, some of the best 90s movies are probably ones you completely forgot existed at all. There’s something about being in my 30s that makes me crave the simpler times. No cell phones. Dial-up internet. Playing in the yard for hours. And of course, getting your hands on a brand new movie.

Larry Fleet, Riley Green and NSync
Admit it, seeing NSync on this list made you click it, right? I am right there with you!! Welcome to another Monday playlist. My allergies are flaring, the pollen is in my pores, and I am ready for summer concerts to take over my life! Let’s go! First up we have Larry Fleet. His new radio single, Things I Take For Granted, pauses to look at all the small things we overlook that are going our way.
Corey Kent, Jackson Dean and George Birge
Happy Monday, Friends! It’s a beautiful spring day in North Carolina which means sunshine, windows down, and new music blasting. First on this week’s playlist is our friend Corey Kent. I got to briefly talk to Corey during our Country Radio Seminar and he is so thankful for the success he has had. You may remember Corey’s huge hit Wild As Her. Well, I am equally as obsessed with this new one titled This Heart.
Chase Matthew, Greylan James and Kassi Ashton
Welcome to March! It is almost officially Spring and it’s time to get amped up for concert season this Summer! On February 16, Chase Matthew released his We All Grow Up EP which has my first pick on this playlist, I Don’t Carolina. If you don’t know Chase, he grew up in and around Nashville, TN and currently his radio single Love You Again is officially sitting in the top 20s! I’ve really started to see Chase shine in the last year or so.
The 5 Best Country Love Songs of 2023 To Get You Ready For Valentine's Day
Valentine’s Day means love is in the air, and Country music knows how to pull at our heartstrings. So I decided to go on the hunt for the love songs that got the most plays on Country radio across the United States in 2023. This is a purposeful mission. I wanted the music that really drove the recent love stories everyone has. The songs that made you feel all of the love and good vibes in the last year, and that will have you uniquely prepared to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year properly.
Dylan Marlowe, Gabby Barrett and Nate Smith
Happy post-Super Bowl Monday! After that halftime show, let’s be honest, I could make this whole playlist Usher throwbacks. But I won’t do that here… At least not today! I love weekends because somewhere out there, artists are releasing new music. Whether it’s a new single or an album. And we are thankful as a collective. Today’s playlist is all new! First, I wanted to start out strong with a young artist we had at Stars & Guitars. Dylan Marlowe is going to be huge in this genre, mark my words.
The Definitive Ranking of All the Harry Potter Books From Best to Worst
It should come as no surprise that the Harry Potter books and series are very near and dear to my heart. This series is literally my life. I picked up the first book when I was in 4th grade and picked up the last when I graduated High School. Growing up alongside these characters has made an indelible mark on my life. I know that everyone has a different impression of Harry Potter and what it means.
Kameron Marlowe, Conner Smith and LeAnn Rimes
We’ve reached the last Monday in January! Hooray! I feel like I’m in the movie Inception – it’s been a month inside a month inside a month! So let’s celebrate the fact that January is ending with another Monday Playlist! First on tap, the new release from Kameron Marlowe and Ella Langley. Holy smokes! Our North Carolina native can SING! The much anticipated song is called Strangers. Kameron’s voice is stellar, and while that’s no surprise, he still blows me away with this performance.
Kenny Chesney, The Red Clay Strays and Zach Top
Monday’s can be tough. The weekend is over. Many of us are back to work. And it can be hard to get the week started off on the right foot. So let’s try our best with another Monday Morning Playlist! Kenny Chesney announced his new album Born will be out March 29th! Take Her Home is the first single off the album that he released back in November.
Tigirlily Gold, Tim McGraw and Zach Bryan
Happy 2024! Let’s get this new year started right with another Monday playlist. Per usual, these are songs both old and new that I’ve been listening to lately and can’t get enough of. With a strong entrance to 2024, we have the dynamic duo of Tigirlily Gold. Two sisters that we had the pleasure of hosting here in our very own Studio B sessions. I Tried A Ring On is a song they’ve been sitting on for a while. I had the honor of hearing it a while back, and I remember thinking “This is it.
8 New Country Songs KML Added to Our Playlists in December
Every month there is a plethora of new music for us to start playing on KML! But it’s never an easy process to select which new country songs we will add to the playlists. In December, we’ve added a lot of great tracks from some established stars like Dustin Lynch and Lady A. But we also made room for some newcomers like Dylan Marlowe and Ashley Cooke. Balancing what music we play, and when we play it, is a non-stop challenge.
Old Dominion, Larry Fleet and Ashley Cooke
December is off and running and we’ve got new music from our favorite country artists to keep us going through that holiday traffic! Look, my love for Old Dominion knows no bounds. I will support this band if they suddenly put out an electro head banger. But in the meantime, they are still right up my avenue with country, and their latest album Memory Lane dropped October 6.
Dylan Marlowe and Dylan Scott, Cody Johnson, and Dustin Lynch
Oh hi there! I’m happy to bring back another Monday Playlist for you to indulge in. And trust me, your ears will thank you. Dylan Marlowe was kind enough to perform at our Stars & Guitars in early November, and I’ve been keeping my ears open to his music since discovering him earlier this year. He’s written for other artists you know and love but is making a path of his own. Some people just have “IT”… and you don’t always know what “IT” is.
GALLERY: Webb Carpet Backstage at Stars & Guitars 2023
Backstage at Stars & Guitars is always an adventure, and this year was no exception. Our friends at Webb Carpet Company have presented our Backstage Artist Lounge for years now, and we’re so thankful for the joy they help bring. We had some really fun moments backstage this year, with a group of artists who all loved being around each other, and were incredibly friendly.
GALLERY: ABC 11 Photo Booth at Stars & Guitars 2023
