(WSAV) — A hotter and drier pattern will set up for Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure builds in over the southeastern U.S. A few storms will move back in by Friday for the weekend. Wednesday morning will begin mainly sunny and very warm with low temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. The sunny sky will help temperatures to quickly climb into the lower and middle 90s.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The very hot and humid pattern will continue through the week with dangerously high heat index values and a few thunderstorms. A very warm and humid Tuesday morning is expected with low temperatures only cooling into the upper 70s for most of the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. A sunny sky through the morning will help temperatures to quickly climb into the upper 80s to 90s by the late morning. Tuesday afternoon will warm into the lower to middle 90s.
