Read Full Bio →Showkat Nanda is a journalist, documentary photographer and educator based in Kashmir. He is a Fulbright fellow and holds a master’s in journalism from University of Kashmir and a master's in photojournalism from University of Missouri J-School, Columbia.
His work, which mainly focuses on politics, gender and human vulnerability, has won numerous awards including grants from National Geographic Society, Magnum Foundation and Henry Luce Foundation.
