The Road to Jerez is the Real Show

The first sign that we were nearing Circuito de Jerez wasn’t the track. It was the sound. At first, the low thrum of motorcycle engines felt distant enough to mistake for weather. Then it multiplied. Soon, the highway had transformed into something between a migration and a parade: thousands of motorcycles converging toward what looked, geographically at least, like the middle of nowhere. Traffic slowed to a crawl, but no one seemed bothered.
