Work has focused on in-depth investigations and cross-border reporting on governance failures, institutional abuse, and press freedom violations, with publications in leading regional and international outlets including Daily Monitor, The East African, Quartz, AllAfrica, and the Global Investigative Journalism Network.
Previously served as East Africa Correspondent for the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), documenting press freedom threats and contributing to regional advocacy on journalist protection.
Alongside journalism, engaged in research, civic initiatives, and communications work for governance and human rights-focused projects. Co-founder of Shelter, Health & Education, a community initiative supporting marginalised girls.
Current work and interests sit at the intersection of media freedom, governance, law, and policy research, with a growing focus on international development and accountability systems.
