Do you love French toast? In my own household, it is one of those breakfast dishes that I make that causes absolute, pure excitement. I don’t make it very often, but it’s always one of the things my husband loves in the morning. I have an old recipe I have used for over twenty years that I got from my own mother. It uses sweet breads or brioche, unlike more traditional American bread recipes.

Do you love stuffed peppers? With peppers coming into season, it is time to start making some of my favorite recipes. Don’t get me wrong, I use peppers throughout the year in almost every recipe, but there is just something special about picking peppers from your own garden and cooking them. For me, stuffed peppers were one of the first recipes my mother taught me to cook, using a minute recipe and some very basic ingredients.
