Why did you become a journalist?
I love to write and tell stories; I believe the best stories are the real ones from real people.

Yes; I was the features writer for our high school newspaper. I wrote bi-weekly articles about people in our school community.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My senior thesis at Hampton University: a story about indiscriminate cases of breast cancer among Black women in Hampton Roads.
