COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The summertime pattern is in full force over the next several days. That includes the heat, humidity and scattered mainly afternoon storms. Mostly sunny to start Friday. Clouds build a bit during the afternoon and we’ll have a warm, gusty breeze with a chance of showers and storms during the afternoon/early evening hours. Highs between 91 and 94 degrees with feels like temperatures near 100 degrees. Partly cloudy Friday night with isolated showers and storms.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Temperatures heat up in the days ahead as we have mostly typical rain chances for summer. Of course with the humidity it will feel hotter. A mix of sun and clouds Thursday. Hot and humid with a gusty breeze at times. Only a few showers and storms around with rain coverage around 20%. Most of us will not get rain. Highs between 88 and 91 degrees. Partly cloudy Thursday night. A few isolated showers possible through sunset. Lows early Friday in the low to mid 70s.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A weakening frontal boundary is pushing north in the next 24 hours and will decrease our rain coverage compared to the last couple days. That means the heat will be more of a factor again. A mix of clouds and sun Wednesday with a chance of showers and storms mainly between Noon and 8 p.m. Rain coverage should be closer to 30 or 40% with perhaps more of a focus near and/or north of Fort Mitchell, Fort Benning and Ellaville. A few pop up storms are still possible south.
