One I heard growing up was about a trip we took to Stanford Shopping Center. I was a toddler, and somehow as we shopped and walked around the mall, I managed to fall into a water fountain. My mother told the story with a clear angle: It was a disaster of pretty epic proportions. An embarrassment, a debacle.
