Innate immune imprints shape HIV-1 reservoir cell persistence during long-term antiretroviral therapy
Abstract Host immune responses that can target and eliminate HIV-1 reservoir cells during suppressive antiretroviral therapy are poorly understood. Here, analyzing over 6,000 proviral DNA amplicons from 104 individuals on long-term antiretroviral therapy, we found that carriers of HLA-C2 allotypes, which promote NK cell education via interactions with KIR2DL1, exhibited lower frequencies of intact proviruses.

Limited discriminant validity of health belief and 3C models in high HPV vaccine coverage settings: the moderating role of hukou and structural barriers
Abstract Background: Whether traditional health belief models (HBM) and 3C models can distinguish residual non-vaccinators in settings with >70% HPV vaccine coverage is unknown. The moderating role of China’s household registration (hukou) on psychological factors and behavior has rarely been quantified. Methods: From April 2025 to February 2026, we surveyed 1,257 women aged 18–65 from six Shenzhen communities.
Fixed-time robust control framework for saturated robotic systems: a nonsingular terminal sliding mode method via RBFNN
This paper presents an adaptive fixed-time sliding-mode control (SMC) strategy to address the trajectory tracking problem of n-link robotic manipulators subject to input saturation, parameter uncertainties, and external disturbances. Firstly, the unknown dynamic parameters and the bound vector of external disturbances are integrated into a compounded uncertainty.
Willingness to receive cross-border human papillomavirus vaccination among Chinese male university students: a cross-sectional study with statistical indirect-association analysis
Abstract Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination is an important strategy for preventing HPV-related disease among males. Access to male HPV vaccination may involve cross-border health seeking for some university students in mainland China.

Association of Anesthesia Modality With Procedural Parameters and Clinical Outcomes in PVI for Atrial Fibrillation
1 Introduction Atrial fibrillation (AF) is one of the most common arrhythmias in clinical practice [1, 2], leading to reduced quality of life and an increased risk of stroke [3-6]. Although the postoperative success rate of ablation is limited (50%–80%), pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) remains the most effective treatment for AF [7-9]. How to improve the success rate after atrial fibrillation ablation has attracted increasing attention.

Childhood emotional abuse and adolescent anxiety: a moderated mediation model of bullying victimization, perceived teacher legitimacy, and negative legal emotion
Abstract Background: Childhood emotional abuse (CEA) is a robust risk factor for adolescent anxiety, yet the psychosocial mechanisms linking early emotional maltreatment to later internalizing problems remain insufficiently understood. This study examined whether bullying victimization mediates the association between CEA and anxiety, and whether perceived teacher legitimacy and negative legal emotion jointly moderate this pathway.
From patient-derived tumor organoids to personalized cancer therapy: advancing treatment for advanced solid tumors
Abstract Background: Cancer remains a major global public health burden, with high morbidity and mortality. Despite advances in treatment strategies, many patients with advanced solid tumors face treatment resistance and limited therapeutic options. Patient-derived tumor organoids (PDTOs) have emerged as promising preclinical models for personalized medicine, but their clinical translational potential in guiding individualized treatment for advanced solid tumors requires further validation.

Sympathetic nerve aggravates autoimmune skin disease via NE-adrenergic receptor axis: Neuroimmune cross-talk insights from vitiligo
Abstract The dysregulation of cross-talk between the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) and the immune system is closely linked to the development of autoimmune diseases. This study used vitiligo as a model to elucidate the role of the SNS in autoimmune skin diseases. Evidence from clinical and animal studies confirmed abnormal activation of the SNS in vitiligo.

A Bayesian Approach to Total Least‐Squares in Perturbed Compressive Sensing
This paper introduces a Bayesian total least-squares (B-TLS) formulation to address the perturbed compressive sensing problem. Due to the presence of a nonconvex nonseparable penalty, applying the traditional alternating minimization method to this formulation poses mathematical and computational challenges. To mitigate this problem, we propose a Bayesian proximal alternating linearized minimization (BPALM) algorithm.

Emergence of polar skyrmions in 2D Janus CrInX3 (X=Se, Te) magnets - npj 2D Materials and Applications
Abstract In the realm of multiferroicity in 2D magnets, whether magnetic and polar skyrmions can coexist within a single topological entity has emerged as an important question. Here, we study Janus 2D magnets CrInX3 (X=Se, Te) for a comprehensive investigation of the magnetic ground state, magnetic excited state, and corresponding ferroelectric polarization by first-principles electronic structure calculations and Monte Carlo simulations.

Biodiversity buffers the response of spring leaf unfolding to climate warming - Nature Climate Change
Abstract Understanding the sensitivity of spring leaf-out dates to temperature (ST) is integral to predicting phenological responses to climate warming and the consequences for global biogeochemical cycles. While variation in ST has been shown to be influenced by local climate adaptations, the impact of biodiversity remains unknown.

Mechanical control of the splicing factor PTBP1 regulates extracellular matrix stiffness-induced cell proliferation and mechanomemory
Abstract Cells sense and respond to mechanical cues from their environment. Mechanical cues are important for many biological processes, including embryonic development, ageing, cellular homeostasis, and diseases. Cells translate mechanical cues into cellular biochemical signals that govern cellular behaviour, like cell proliferation or migration, via a process called mechanotransduction. However, this process and the proteins involved remain incompletely understood.
