Research on the transportation mechanism of drum cutting dust and dust control technology in fully mechanized mining faces
Abstract Drums produce a large amount of dust during coal cutting operations, causing great harm to underground workers and the environment. To solve the problem of dust pollution from the drum cutoff, the transportation law of dust from the front drum and the double drum cutoff was simulated and studied.
Frequency-dependent PI parameter optimization for enhanced terahertz near-field imaging quality
Abstract The trade-off between scanning speed and image quality constrains the application of terahertz near-field imaging in high-throughput scenarios. In this study, quantitative models were established to link the proportional (P) and integral (I) parameters to image quality—quantified by the Brisque score—at 0.4 Hz and 0.5 Hz using second-order polynomials (R2 = 0.65 and 0.60). The optimal parameters were found to be frequency-dependent.
FetalADM: a double-layer ensemble model based on SMOTE_KM and RF-RFE for fetal trisomy 21, 18, and 13 detections
Abstract Noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT), which utilizes high-throughput sequencing technology to analyze cell-free DNA fragments from maternal peripheral plasma, has been widely adopted in clinical practice. However, accurately detecting fetal trisomy remains a challenge. To address this issue, we propose a novel double-layer ensemble model designed for detecting fetal trisomy13, 18 and 21.

Development and validation of a flow state scale for healthcare professionals
Abstract Purpose: Nowadays, healthcare workers generally face mental health risks such as occupational burnout, depression, and low job satisfaction, which negatively affect both their physical and mental well-being as well as organizational performance. Flow, as a positive internal motivational state, may help address these challenges.
Exploring tourists’ leisure-walking perceptions and streetscape affordances: insight from street view images and machine learning
ABSTRACT Leisure walking represents a vital yet underexplored dimension of urban tourism, particularly within historical and cultural districts that define the identity and everyday experience of tourism cities. This study explores how tourists perceive leisure walkability in such environments and examines the key streetscape features that shape these perceptions.

The unequal contribution of urban blue-green space to the cooling effect
1 Introduction Global climate change and rapid urbanization have intensified the urban heat island (UHI) effect (Li et al., 2024a). This has led to higher land surface temperatures (LST) and more frequent and intense heat waves, which threaten public health, biodiversity, and ecosystem services. Changes in land use are a key driver of the UHI effect (Yuan et al., 2025).

Mating strategies of Vitex negundo L. var. heterophylla (Franch.) Rehder (Lamiaceae): A mixed mating system with inbreeding depression
1 INTRODUCTION Plant breeding system is the sum of various physiological and morphological mechanisms that control the relative frequency of outcrossing or self-crossing, which is an important part of reproductive ecology and a hotspot of evolutionary ecology (Andrus, 1963). On present trends, more and more ecological researches focus on the ecology of plant reproduction (McCallen et al., 2019).

Key to High Performance Ion Hybrid Capacitor: Weakly Solvated Zinc Cations
1 Introduction Electrochemical double-layer capacitors, often denoted as supercapacitors, are attracting extensive attention.[1] In double-layer capacitors, the energy is supplied by physically adsorbing charged ions at the interface between the electrodes and the electrolyte (electrochemical double layer), which enables kinetically fast transfer of charged ions.[2] The absence of Faradaic ion intercalation reactions as in parallel connected batteries, gives double-layer capacitors the...
Popular strategies for constructing polymer gel thermoelectric materials
1 INTRODUCTION In the modern world, large amounts of primary energy are consumed, such as oil, coal, and natural gas, for use in automobile manufacturing, electricity generation, and residential living,1 and substantial amounts of waste heat are released along with the energy generated.
lncRNA MtCIR2 positively regulates plant‐freezing tolerance by modulating CBF/DREB1 gene clusters
Abstract Emerging evidence suggests that long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are involved in regulation of plant response to environmental stress. CBF/DREB1s are highly conserved transcription factors that regulate response to cold stress in plants. However, very few lncRNAs were found to regulate expression of CBFs and cold tolerance in plant.

Enhancement of Smith-Purcell radiation from cylindrical gratings by quasi-bound states in the continuum
Abstract Smith–Purcell radiation (SPR) is an important means of generating terahertz waves, and the enhancement of SPR is an attractive topic nowadays. Inspired by the phenomenon of special SPR, where the enhancement is achieved by using a high-duty-cycle grating, we describe a new, to the best of our knowledge, but more effective approach to this challenging problem.
All-fiber high-voltage capacitor unbalanced current transformer
Abstract According to the high-voltage and small-current characteristics for unbalanced current of high-voltage capacitors, a novel fiber optical filter unbalanced current transformer (FU-FOCT) is proposed, where an all-fiber temperature sensor based on the temperature birefringence effect of polarization-maintaining fiber is designed and integrated into an FU-FOCT for real-time temperature correction.
Sulfonatocalix[4]arene-Based Light-Harvesting Amphiphilic Supramolecular Assemblies for Sensing Sulfites in Cells
Sulfonatocalix[4]arene-Based Light-Harvesting Amphiphilic Supramolecular Assemblies for Sensing Sulfites in Cells Herein, we reported highly efficient light-harvesting amphiphilic supramolecular assemblies based on a tetraphenylethylene derivative (TPE-4Py), an amphiphilic sulfonatocalix[4]arene (SC4A-C6), and a sulfites fluorescent probe (SP).
The effects of zinc deficiency on homeostasis of twelve minerals and trace elements in the serum, feces, urine and liver of rats
Abstract Background Zinc deficiency can change the concentrations of minerals and trace elements in the body. However, previous studies still had many limitations. Objective To reveal the effects of zinc deficiency on homeostasis of 16 minerals and trace elements. Methods Forty-five rats were divided randomly into three groups: normal zinc diet (30 mg/kg), low zinc diet (10 mg/kg), and pair-fed diet(30 mg/kg).
