The Impact of Virtual Travel Experience in Gamescape on University Student-Players’ Travel Intention: A Field Experimental Approach
ABSTRACT Video games as an emerging medium for destination marketing have gained momentum since the pandemic. This study proposes and examines a conceptual model to investigate the relationship between interactivity, vividness, and immersion of virtual travel experiences within gamescapes and university student-players’ travel intention, with telepresence as a mediator. Data were collected through a field survey and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM).

High-alcohol-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae aggravates lung injury by affecting neutrophils and the airway epithelium
Keywords Klebsiella pneumoniae lung injury ethanol production neutrophil reactive oxygen species ROS Introduction Klebsiella pneumoniae (Kpn) mainly colonizes in the upper respiratory tract and intestinal tracts.1,2 We have previously reported that the commensal high-alcohol-producing Kpn (HiAlc Kpn) in the intestinal microbiota can produce high endogenous alcohol through 2,3-butanediol fermentation and might be one of the potential causative agents of endo-alcoholic fatty liver disease.3,4...

Mission-Based Design and Retrofit for Energy/Propulsion Systems of Solar-Powered UAVs: Integrating Propeller Slipstream Effects
1. Introduction Solar-powered Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (SPUAVs) are a kind of aircraft that relies solely on solar energy as the power source, aiming to achieve high-altitude and long-endurance flights for months or even years without interruption. Due to the particularity of SPUAVs, the design and development face numerous challenges [1].

Synthesis, characterization and antifungal activity of imidazole chitosan derivatives
Chitosan is a cationic polysaccharides containing amino group obtained from deacetylation of chitin, and have been widely applied in the biomedical and the industrial fields [1]. Especially, it has attracted considerable attention in medicine and agrichemical field owing to the advantages of biocompatibility, biodegradation and non-cytotoxicity [[2], [3], [4]]. However, poor solubility and relatively weak biological activity limit its application scope [5].

Dual-energy computed tomography and micro-computed tomography for assessing bone regeneration in a rabbit tibia model - Scientific Reports
Abstract To gain a more meaningful understanding of bone regeneration, it is essential to select an appropriate assessment method. Micro-computed tomography (Micro-CT) is widely used for bone regeneration because it provides a substantially higher spatial resolution. Dual-energy computed tomography (DECT) ensure shorter scan time and lower radiation doses during quantitative evaluation. Therefore, in this study, DECT and Micro-CT were used to evaluate bone regeneration.

The impact of breast‐conserving surgery and modified radical mastectomy on postoperative wound complications in patients with early breast cancer
1 INTRODUCTION Breast cancer is one of the common malignant tumours that occur in the epithelial tissues of the mammary gland in women, with 99% of patients being female.1 Every year, the incidence rate of breast cancer has increased.2 According to relevant research reports, the incidence rate of breast cancer in urban women in our country is about 0.3%, which has a serious impact on women's physical health and quality of life.3 Due to the improvement in the diagnosis level of breast cancer...

A Review of Vibration-Based Scour Diagnosis Methods for Bridge Foundation
1. Introduction Foundation scour is one of the important reasons for bridge failure. In the United States, half of the more than 1000 bridge collapses from 1980 to 2012 were caused by scour [,]. The scour-induced average annual cost for highway repair has exceeded 30 million dollars in the 1990s [], and the indirect economic loss caused by traffic interruption was even harder to estimate. In China, 58% of the 192 bridge failure cases from 1949 to 2021, as studied by Xiong et al.

Vehicle Distance Estimation from a Monocular Camera for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
4. Results and Discussion Table 3 shows the evaluation results of the three distance prediction models. Among the three models, LSTM outperformed the other models in terms of the MAE. For different object classes, this study found that the XGBoost model showed the best performance in distance prediction for the car and bicycle classes. For the remaining classes, the LSTM model showed the best performance.

An AIE probe for imaging mitochondria SO2-induced stress and its level in heat stroke
An AIE probe for imaging mitochondria SO2-induced stress and its level in heat stroke A probe MITO-TPE was developed for imaging mitochondrial SO2 with good selectivity, high sensitivity, and fast response. Cell imaging indicated that SO2 induced oxidative stress may cause damage to cells through O2•− bursting. MITO-TPE has been achieved imaging the misregulation of SO2 level in mitochondria during heat stroke for the first time.
A multi-signal mitochondria-targeted fluorescent probe for real-time visualization of cysteine metabolism in living cells and animals
In this study, we developed a multi-signal mitochondria-targeted fluorescent probe (NIR-Cys) for simultaneous detection of Cys and its metabolite, SO . In the design of the probe, the acrylate group and the C C of the coumarin ring were used as the recognizing moiety for Cys and SO , respectively. The probe exhibited high sensitivity, excellent specificity, and fast response.
