A phased telomere-to-telomere genome of Rosa wichuraiana ‘Basye’s Thornless’, a key progenitor for modern rose breeding
Abstract Rosa wichuraiana ‘Basye’s Thornless’ (BT) is a critical diploid germplasm in rose genetics and breeding programmes, prized for its superior traits including thornlessness, disease resistance, and vigorous root-sprouting capacity. Here, we present a telomere-to-telomere (T2T) haplotype-resolved genome assembly of BT generated using PacBio HiFi long reads, Oxford Nanopore Technologies ultra-long reads, and Hi-C chromatin conformation capture data.

The dementia fear among older adults: a scoping review
Abstract Background: Previous studies evaluating dementia fear among older adults showed inconsistent results regarding its prevalence, measurement approaches, and associated factors. We performed a scoping review to systematically map the literature on measurement tools, prevalence levels, associated factors, and intervention strategies. Methods: We systematically searched PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, and SinoMed from inception to May 2026.
Lattice light sheet activation structured illumination super-resolution microscopy
Abstract Volumetric super-resolution (SR) live imaging at high speed has been a long-standing challenge, especially in thick fluorescent specimens. Here we develop lattice light sheet activation structured illumination microscopy (LA-SIM), which integrates the advantages of superior optical sectioning and low phototoxicity offered by light sheet microscopy with SR-SIM in both linear and nonlinear schemes, using reversibly photoswitchable fluorescent protein.

Real-world comparison of chemoimmunotherapy and chemotherapy alone in elderly patients (≥75 years) with extensive-stage small cell lung Cancer
ABSTRACT Introduction Given the underrepresentation of adults aged ≥75 years with extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) in clinical trials, we compared first-line chemoimmunotherapy versus chemotherapy in this population. Methods This retrospective study enrolled 88 patients aged ≥75 years with ES-SCLC treated with either chemotherapy alone (n = 42) or chemoimmunotherapy (n = 46). The primary endpoint was overall survival (OS).
Joint enhancement of saturation intensity and dynamic range for polarization imaging via a polarization modulation aperture
Strong light exceeding the saturation intensity threshold and the dynamic range of imaging systems leads to overexposure and severe image degradation. Current approaches generally rely on intricate hardware setups, sophisticated algorithms, or multi-exposure strategies, which often bring about bulky systems, high computational costs, and limited adaptability.

A latent profile analysis of health behaviors among rural patients with ischemic stroke in China
Abstract Background: Health behaviors are critical determinants of stroke recurrence risk and long-term clinical outcomes in patients with chronic diseases. For rural patients with ischemic stroke (IS) in China, understanding the heterogeneity of these behaviors is essential for developing targeted interventions to improve both behavioral adherence and subsequent quality of life.

Biocompatibility of Additively Manufactured Fe-AZ31 Biodegradable Composites for Craniofacial Implant Applications
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Population Genetics of an Endemic Species Mongoloniscus sinensis (Isopoda: Oniscidea) and Diversification Dynamics Across Northern China
1 Introduction Investigating the mechanisms shaping the present patterns of species distribution is a central goal in biogeography and evolutionary biology (Wiens and Donoghue 2004). The evolutionary trajectories and genetic differentiation of extant species have been profoundly influenced by historical geographic isolation, often driven by mountain uplift and climatic fluctuations during the Pleistocene glacial cycles (Hewitt 2000, 2004).
A Synergistic Complexation‐Encapsulation Paradigm Enables Unprecedented Radioactive Remediation
1 Introduction Since the advent of the nuclear industry in the 1940s, the expansive demand for decommissioning nuclear facilities contaminated with radionuclides has emerged as a critical global concern.[1, 2] This urgency is further compounded by catastrophic nuclear incidents, including the Chernobyl disaster and Fukushima Daiichi accident, which have highlighted the persistent challenges of surface radioactive contamination.[3, 4] Accordingly, effective decontamination of radioactive...
Proteome and Ubiquitinome Analyses Reveal the Involvement of Ubiquitination in Resistance to Maize Lethal Necrosis
1 Introduction Protein post-translational modifications (PTMs) are important regulatory mechanisms to enrich the structure, function and subcellular localisation of proteins by adding different groups to the amino acid chain (Withers and Dong 2017). Ubiquitination, one of the most common PTMs, plays vital roles in the regulation of plant growth and development, and in response to various stresses by selective degradation of proteins (Xu and Xue 2019).

Workplace Envy and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour: The Mediating Effect of Cynicism and the Moderating Effect of Organizational Support
1 Introduction In increasingly competitive work environments, employees constantly compare themselves with their colleagues in areas such as promotions, performance evaluations, salary increases, and interpersonal treatment (D. J. Brown et al. 2007; Menon and Thompson 2010). These social comparisons can help individuals make accurate self-assessments, but they can also evoke envy (Cohen-Charash and Mueller 2007; Duffy et al. 2012).
Using hESCs to Probe the Interaction of the Diabetes-Associated Genes CDKAL1 and MT1E
Main text (Cell Reports 19, 1512–1521; May 23, 2017) As this was article initially published, there are several instances of duplication of immunostaining images presented in Figures 1C, S2A, and S4F. These errors occurred during the final preparation of the figures, when representative images were selected to illustrate the results. To ensure that these errors did not affect the paper's conclusions, the authors verified all raw data used to quantify the results.

Optimizing design parameters of 3D‐printed poly‐4‐hydroxybutyrate nipple scaffolds for nipple reconstruction
We have engineered absorbable nipple scaffolds using a 3D-printed P4HB latticework and rolled P4HB knitted mesh that demonstrated consistent maintenance of nipple projection and diameter over 12 months in a rodent model. As the P4HB scaffold degrades, it is replaced by fibrovascular adipose tissue, which approximates the proper shape, volume, and biomechanical qualities of the human nipple.
