Endometrial cancer molecular classification: research advances and clinical application
Abstract As research in molecular biology continues to advance, the classification of endometrial cancer has gradually shifted from traditional histology toward risk stratification based on the integration of molecular subtyping with clinicopathologic factors. Molecular subtyping has not only transformed our understanding of the biological heterogeneity of endometrial cancer but also provided new evidence for prognostic assessment and treatment selection.
Advancing soil science using rare earth element tracing: Review, limitations and perspectives
Abstract Rare earth elements (REEs), owing to their unique geochemical properties, have emerged as versatile tracers for investigating soil processes. However, most REE tracing studies remain application-specific, and systematic evaluation of tracing strategies, methodological uncertainties, and future development pathways is still lacking. This review summarizes two fundamental REE tracing strategies, namely active labeling and passive fingerprinting.
A multi-co-chaperone pre-secretion assembly directs type VI secretion system toxin delivery
Abstract Bacterial toxins are secreted through cell-envelope apparatuses, but the pre-secretion delivery process to the type VI secretion apparatus for the toxin proteins that are encoded separately in the genome is largely elusive. Here we show that a nuclease toxin in Myxococcus xanthus requires multiple proteins to assemble into a complex for toxin delivery.

Unraveling daily dynamics of supraglacial lakes in response to hydrological pulses and anomalous climate signals
Abstract Mass loss from debris-covered glaciers in High Mountain Asia drives the expansion of small supraglacial lakes (SGLs) and changes the occurrence patterns of hazardous processes including glacial lake outburst floods. Here, we analyse surface area changes of small SGLs ( > 0.045×104 m2) in the Sagarmatha region, Eastern Himalaya, integrating data with daily resolution from 2016 to 2024. The results show SGLs expanded at a mean rate of 5.90 ± 1.49×104 m2·yr⁻¹.
Association between immune checkpoint inhibitors and the risk and prognosis of uveitis: a meta-analysis
Abstract Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) activate antitumor immunity by targeting immune checkpoint molecules such as cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4), programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1), and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). They have emerged as a key therapeutic modality for multiple malignancies. Nevertheless, excessive immune activation may trigger a spectrum of immune-related adverse events (irAEs).
A mechanosensitive lipolytic factor in the bone marrow promotes osteogenesis and lymphopoiesis
Main text (Cell Metabolism 34, 1168–1182.e1–e6; August 2, 2022) Several issues have been identified in the published manuscript. The discrepancies in decimal precision between the dataset and the values plotted in Figures 1D, 4B, 4I, 6C, and 7D were due to inconsistencies in decimal rounding and Excel display settings. The figures themselves are correct, and all affected values in the dataset have now been standardized to ensure consistency in decimal precision.
Excessive vigorous exercise impairs cognitive function through a muscle-derived mitochondrial pretender
Main text (Cell Metabolism 38, 281–297.e1–e11; February 3, 2026) After publication, the authors noted several errors in the paper: • Duplicate data points in Figure S5I stemmed from unintentional repeated data export during ImageJ-mediated grayscale quantification. • One value was erroneously duplicated in Figure S5M, and its figure legend has been revised to indicate semi-quantitative RT-PCR instead of RT-qPCR.

N‐Acety‐L‐Cysteine Alleviates Isoflurane‐Triggered Neuronal Cell Parthanatos by Suppressing Reactive Oxygen Species Accumulation Through the Induction of c‐Jun N‐Terminal Kinase Signaling Pathway Inhibition
1 Introduction Studies indicate that the inhaled anesthetic isoflurane possesses potential neurotoxicity to the developing brain, raising increasing concerns about the safety of using isoflurane anesthesia in infants and young children [1]. Animal and clinical experimental studies have confirmed that exposure to isoflurane in the developing brain can lead to neurodegenerative changes and cognitive dysfunctions [2, 3].
Constraints on syntactic adaptation from a failure to generalise to the subject-object ambiguity
ABSTRACT Adaptation to garden path processing has been observed when processing immediately follows a nonsyntactic conflict (Stroop) trial, demonstrating domain-general conflict adaptation. Likewise, adaptation to garden path processing has been observed progressively over an experiment with incremental exposure. Two high-powered experiments tested generalisability of both forms of adaptation to the subject/object garden path within the same dataset.

Anthropogenic activity and climate change exacerbate the spread of pathogenic bacteria in the environment
Abstract Climate change is profoundly affecting human health. Human pathogenic bacteria (HPB) infections mediated by the environment are considered a substantial cause of global health losses. However, the biogeography of HPB and their response to climate change remain largely unknown. Here, we constructed and analyzed a global atlas of potential HPB using 1,066,584 samples worldwide. HPB are widely present in the global environment, and their distribution follows a latitudinal diversity gradient.
