Hospital-acquired infections in preterm infants with gestational age <32 weeks: a retrospective study of clinical characteristics, pathogen distribution, and associated factors
Abstract Background: Preterm infants born at <32 weeks’ gestation are often highly susceptible to nosocomial infection owing to immune immaturity, prolonged hospitalisation, and frequent invasive procedures. Data on the epidemiology of infection and modifiable risk factors specific to this population in Chinese neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) remain limited.
CO 2 -Assisted Hydrolysis of NaBH 4 : A Multi-Function Platform for Enhanced Hydrogen Release, Regeneration of NaBH 4 , and CO 2 -to-CH 4 Conversion
1 Introduction NaBH4 has long been considered one of the most promising hydrogen carriers due to its high hydrogen content and its ability to release high-purity hydrogen on demand through hydrolysis. However, the practical use of NaBH4 as a hydrogen carrier is limited by a few challenges. First, the un-catalysed hydrogen release from neutral NaBH4 aqueous solution is slow, limiting its applications where rapid hydrogen demand is needed [1].
