DNA methylation-regulated APOLD1 protects cardiomyocytes from hypoxia-induced ferroptosis by activating Nrf2 pathway in vitro
Abstract Cardiomyocyte ferroptosis inhibition can alleviate myocardial injury during myocardial infarction (MI). Apolipoprotein L domain containing 1 (APOLD1) is abnormally expressed in the MI model. This study planned to elucidate the mechanism by which APOLD1 modulated ferroptosis in hypoxia-induced cardiomyocyte injury. The levels of myocardial injury markers, such as creatine kinase isoenzyme myocardial band, cardiac troponin T, and lactate dehydrogenase, were measured using ELISA kits.

SGCM-Net: structure-guided mural inpainting with state space model
Abstract The degraded regions of ancient murals often contain intricate textures and structural curves, presenting major challenges for traditional mural restoration. Although digital image inpainting offers a viable approach, Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based methods are commonly constrained by these complex scenarios and struggle with global consistency due to their limited receptive fields.

Newly emerging IADL impairment predicts subsequent cognitive decline across four population-based aging cohorts
Abstract Scalable clinical markers of neurocognitive vulnerability in aging are needed, particularly in settings where biomarker access remains limited. Instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) capture cognitively demanding everyday behavior and may provide a low-cost, repeatable functional marker of elevated risk. We harmonized longitudinal data from four population-based aging cohorts—CHARLS, ELSA, HRS, and SHARE—including adults aged ≥50 years with eligible baseline assessments.
Thromboxane receptor activation in dendritic cells mitigates sepsis by suppressing S100a8/a9-mediated neutrophil recruitment - Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy Original
Abstract Dendritic cells (DCs) regulate both innate and adaptive immunity during sepsis. Prostaglandins (PGs), small lipid molecules derived from arachidonic acid via COX enzymes, are crucial regulators of immune homeostasis and inflammation. However, their role in sepsis pathogenesis remains poorly defined. In this study, we identified a significant negative correlation between DC depletion and disease severity in patients with sepsis.

Multimodal assessment of acute stress dynamics using an Aversive Video Paradigm (AVP)
Abstract This study explored the efficacy of inducing stress through aversive video clips and investigated its impact on psychological processes, brain, and vegetative physiology. It had a randomized, single-blinded, crossover design, where participants were exposed in separate sessions to aversive or neutral video clips. Subjective feelings of stress were assessed via questionnaires. Electroencephalography (EEG) with 62 electrodes was recorded continuously.

Distribution, Typical Structure and Self-Assembly Properties of Collagen from Fish Skin and Bone
2. Results 2.1. Distribution of Collagen Fibers in TI-s, TI-b, SK-s, and SK-c VG staining is usually used to analyze the arrangement and distribution of collagen fibers. VG staining of TI-s (a), TI-b (c), SK-s (e), and SK-c (g) is shown in Figure 1. It can be seen that the red collagen fibers are aligned tightly and longitudinally in TI-s, SK-s, and TI-b. The collagen fibers in the SK-c tissue showed a tight reticular structure.

Parallel Selector for Feature Reduction
Abstract : In the field of rough set, feature reduction is a hot topic. Up to now, to better guide the explorations of this topic, various devices regarding feature reduction have been developed. Nevertheless, some challenges regarding these devices should not be ignored: (1) the viewpoint provided by a fixed measure is underabundant; (2) the final reduct based on single constraint is sometimes powerless to data perturbation; (3) the efficiency in deriving the final reduct is inferior.
62. The Impact of Serum 17β-Estradiol Levels on Cognitive Function in Alzheimer’s Disease
Accumulating evidence has shown the neuroprotective effects of estrogen on cognition function. However, the clinical usage of estrogen in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) still remains controversial. APOE gene encoding Apolipoprotein E, has been suggested to modulate the neuroprotective effects of estrogen in Caucasian populations. To understand more about this, we performed the current study to investigate the impact of serum estrogen levels on AD by focusing on Chinese ageing population.
Nanoagonist‐Mediated GSDME‐Dependent Pyroptosis Remodels the Inflammatory Microenvironment for Tumor Photoimmunotherapy
Abstract Immunotherapy, especially immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) antibody immunotherapy, has revolutionized the treatment ways of cancers and provided remarkable clinical benefits for multiple cancers. However, the efficacy of immunotherapy in tumors with an immune-excluded or immune-suppressed phenotype is dismal due to the lack or paucity of immune infiltration in the tumor microenvironment.

Nx4 Modulated Resting-State Functional Connectivity Between Amygdala and Prefrontal Cortex in a Placebo-Controlled, Crossover Trial
Brain ConnectivityVol. 12, No. 9 Original ArticlesOpen AccessCreative Commons license Abstract Background: The basic functional organization of the resting brain, assessed as resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC), can be affected by previous stress experience and it represents the basis on which subsequent stress experience develops. Notably, the rsFC between the amygdala and the cortical regions associated with emotion regulation and anxiety are affected during stress.

An Electrochemical Immunosensor Based on Reduced Graphene Oxide/Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes/Thionine/Gold Nanoparticles nanocomposites for the Sensitive Testing of Follicle-Stimulating Hormone Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) is a kind of gonadotropin which can promote human reproduction and development. Abnormal FSH level may lead to endocrine disorder and infertility. Sensitive determination of FSH is very significant for clinical diagnosis of these diseases.
