Assessment of the quality and reliability of short-form videos on subarachnoid hemorrhage: a cross-platform content analysis
Abstract Short-form video platforms are increasingly used for health information, but the quality and reliability of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) content remain unclear. This study evaluated Chinese-language SAH-related videos across three major platforms. This cross-sectional study analyzed 228 videos from Douyin, Bilibili, and Xiaohongshu. Video characteristics, engagement metrics, uploader type, and six predefined content domains were recorded.

Efficacy and safety of acute-phase immunotherapy for adult autoimmune encephalitis: a systematic review and network meta-analysis
Abstract Background: Autoimmune encephalitis (AE) is an immune-mediated inflammatory disorder of the central nervous system associated with substantial morbidity. Acute-phase immunotherapy is crucial for improving outcomes, yet the comparative efficacy and safety of available regimens remain unclear. We therefore performed a Bayesian network meta-analysis to compare acute-phase immunotherapeutic strategies for AE.
Associations of eHealth literacy and dietary diversity with depressive symptoms among patients with chronic diseases in rural Western China
Abstract Objective: The global prevalence of depressive symptoms has been increasing steadily. Both eHealth literacy and dietary diversity are closely linked to mental health. However, the mechanisms by which these factors jointly influence depressive symptoms remain unclear.
Dyadic associations of physical activity intensity with fertility-related quality of life in infertile couples: an APIM analysis
Abstract Objective: Infertility is a condition that intrinsically affects both members of a couple. However, the dyadic associations between physical activity intensity and fertility-related quality of life (FertiQoL) remains insufficiently explored. This study aimed to examine dyadic associations between physical activity intensity and FertiQoL among infertile couples undergoing assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatment.
Wage returns to a second bachelor’s field of study: evidence from U.S. data
ABSTRACT This paper examines the relationship between holding a second bachelor’s field of study and wages using ACS data from 2009–2024. While baseline estimates show no statistically significant wage difference between individuals with and without a second field, holding a second bachelor’s field is associated with a 2.4% wage differential relative to individuals with a single field after controlling for individual characteristics and geographic and time effects.

Low-Density and Flexible Silicone with Tunable Transparency for Thermal Insulation and Passive Cooling
1 Introduction Against the backdrop of accelerating global industrialization and urbanization, energy consumption has emerged as a critical bottleneck constraining sustainable human development. The building sector, as a major contributor to global energy demand, accounts for up to 40% of the total consumption [1], and it's still continues to rise.
A Hybrid Empirical and Conceptual Model for Improving the Representation of Reservoirs With Limited Data in Hydrological Models
1 Introduction Numerous dams and reservoirs have been constructed and operated worldwide for purposes such as flood control, irrigation, water supply, and hydroelectricity, which have fundamentally altered streamflow regimes and terrestrial hydrology (Haddeland et al., 2014; Kåresdotter et al., 2022; Poff et al., 1997).
Mechanistic study of TIMM44 mediating gastric carcinogenesis via the Gαi1-PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling pathway
Abstract Hyperglycemic conditions up - regulate TIMM44, an inner mitochondrial membrane protein. Its expression is related to many cancers, yet its role in gastric cancer (GC) remains unproven. To study this, we used western blot and qRT - PCR to measure protein and mRNA levels. Flow cytometry analyzed cell cycle progression. CCK − 8, colony formation, wound healing, Transwell, and EdU assays evaluated cell viability, migratory and invasion abilities.

The therapeutic potential of descending regulatory pathways from brain to bone in osteoporosis: focusing on the brain-bone axis
Abstract Osteoporosis (OP) is a growing global health concern, characterized by reduced bone mass, deterioration of bone microarchitecture, and consequently increased bone fragility. The brain-bone axis, a complex regulatory network encompassing the nervous, endocrine, and immune systems, elucidates the central role of the brain in regulating bone homeostasis. Consequently, this axis has become a major focus of interdisciplinary research into the pathogenesis of OP.
Mycotoxins and non-communicable diseases: exacerbation and susceptibility
Abstract Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites produced by fungi as bio-derived environmental pollutants. They commonly contaminate grains, fruits, and nuts and can enter the human body through the food chain. With the rising prevalence of non-communicable diseases, increasing attention has been paid to the potential links between mycotoxins and chronic conditions; however, systematic reviews on this topic remain limited.
Integrated stress response inhibition prolongs the lifespan of a Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease mouse model by increasing oligodendrocyte survival - Nature Communications
Abstract The leukodystrophy Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease (PMD) is caused by myelin protein proteolipid protein gene (PLP1) mutations. PMD is characterized by oligodendrocyte death and CNS hypomyelination; thus, increasing oligodendrocyte survival and enhancing myelination could provide therapeutic benefit. Here, we use the PMD mouse model Jimpy to determine the impact of the integrated stress response (ISR) on the oligodendrocyte response to mutant PLP expression.

Frontiers | Influencing factors of lymphopenia after conventional fractionated whole-breast radiotherapy following breast-conserving surgery for early breast cancer: a retrospective study
Introduction Breast cancer ranks among the most prevalent types of malignant neoplasms affecting women. For individuals diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer who have received breast-conserving surgery, the standard therapeutic approach involves the administration of radiotherapy to the entire breast and the tumor bed. This approach can reduce the risk of recurrence, metastasis, and mortality while also improving survival benefits (1).

Can the Synergy of Digitalization and Greening Boost Manufacturing Industry Chain Resilience? Evidence from China’s Provincial Panel Data
1. Introduction At present, the global deficit in industrial chain governance is on the rise, leading to the growing uncertainty and instability within the industrial chain. Specifically, the risks of supply chain bottlenecks, disruptions, and blockages have increased. Industry chain resilience refers to the chain’s ability to maintain or restore its normal operation and value creation capacity within a certain range in the face of various risks and uncertainties [].

Three-dimensional mixed-valence polyoxovanadates@polyaniline architecture towards high-performance rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries cathode
The increasingly serious energy crisis and environmental pollution raise an urgent need for cost-effective energy storage systems (ESSs) to utilize renewable energy such as solar and wind power [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]. So far, lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are still dominant in the commercial secondary energy market for their high energy density, but the further application is severely constrained by the limited resources and safety issues of LIBs [6], [7], [8].
