Interfacial Electronic Modulation Redirects Anodic Radical Chemistry for Selective C─C Bond Cleavage in Electro-Oxidative Lignin Depolymerization
1 Introduction The urgent need to reduce dependence on fossil resources and establish a sustainable carbon economy has intensified global interest in converting renewable biomass into fuels, chemicals, and functional materials. In particular, the sustainable production of aromatic chemicals is strategically important because current supplies of phenols, arenes, and related intermediates still depend heavily on petroleum refining.

Magnetic resonance microscopy maps widespread effects of Alzheimer’s disease on brain structures and behavior in mice - Nature Neuroscience
Abstract Alzheimer’s disease has widespread effects on brain structure, function and behavior, but we lack a systematic dissection of its impact across hundreds of forebrain and brainstem regions. Here, using diffusion tensor MRI at 25 µm, we mapped the global consequences of mutations in APP and PSEN1 across 231 regions of interest (ROIs) in male and female 5×FAD BXD hybrid mice at 14 months.
A Novel Model for Predicting Permeability Using Porosity Frequency Spectrum in Fractured Deep Metamorphic Rock Reservoirs: A Case Study of the Archaeozoic Formation in BZ 19-6 Region of Southwestern Bohai Bay Basin
Submitted: 10 February 2026 You are already at the latest version Deep metamorphic rock reservoir permeability prediction faced great challenge due to strong heterogeneity. Fractures were widely developed, but the traditional models did not involve into the contribution of fractures. To establish an effective model to predict permeability, parameters related to fracture needed to be taken into account.

CC rupture in key monosaccharides and succedent redox in supercritical ethanol
Biomass is considered the only alternative to fossils providing carbon compounds, where carbohydrates are the main components [1], [2]. The conversion of carbohydrates produces various high-value chemicals through consecutive and/or parallel reactions, including isomerization, cyclization, hydrolysis, dehydration, retro-aldol condensation, etc. [3], [4], [5], [6], [7].
Normative Modelling of Brain Morphometry Across the Lifespan With CentileBrain: Algorithm Benchmarking and Model Optimisation
Abstract The value of normative models in research and clinical practice relies on their robustness and a systematic comparison of different modelling algorithms and parameters; however, this has not been done to date. We aimed to identify the optimal approach for normative modelling of brain morphometric data through systematic empirical benchmarking, by quantifying the accuracy of different algorithms and identifying parameters that optimised model performance.

Ordered mesoporous silica microspheres for supercritical fluid chromatography
Ordered mesoporous silica microspheres for supercritical fluid chromatography† Herein, silica microspheres with ordered mesopores are synthesized and applied as a stationary phase for supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC). The excellent particle monodispersity and pore orderliness coupled with the rapid analytes diffusion of the supercritical fluid lead to an ultra-high column efficiency of 340 000 plate per m. Simulation of Wedge Interference via GeoGebra
Resumen A GeoGebra applet was created for experiments on wedge interference for high school or introductory college physics. With this simulation, students can observe the phenomenon of the wedge interference experiment intuitively and explore factors of interference fringes. The applet can also simulate the flatness of the inspection plane and judge the unevenness of defects by observing interference fringes.
Design of Flyby Trajectories with Powered Gravity and Aerogravity Assist Maneuvers
1. Introduction Gravity assist (GA) is a classical technique to change the path and energy of a vehicle through a spacecraft flyby or swing-by near a celestial body. GA could improve the heliocentric velocity of the vehicle by using the gravity of the planet, and reduce the fuel consumption and flight time of the mission to a certain extent. It is of great significance for the development of detection missions to achieve long-distance and multi-scientific goals.

Extended Magnetic Reconnection in Kinetic Plasma Turbulence
Magnetic reconnection and plasma turbulence are ubiquitous processes important for laboratory, space, and astrophysical plasmas. Reconnection has been suggested to play an important role in the energetics and dynamics of turbulence by observations, simulations, and theory for two decades. The fundamental properties of reconnection at kinetic scales, essential to understanding the general problem of reconnection in magnetized turbulence, remain largely unknown at present.

Sipunculus nudus genome provides insights into evolution of spiralian phyla and development
1. Introduction Sipunculus nudus (S. nudus) is a cosmopolitan species mainly distributed in tropical and subtropical coastal waters, except for polar waters. It is unsegmented wormlike animals and usually used as a model organism for various fields of research. In recent years, the wild populations of S. nudus suffered from predatory and unhindered exploration stimulated by the market price (Yahui et al., 2015).

Development of a Progression-Based Signal-Timing Strategy for Continuous-Flow Intersections
Downloaded 0 times Technical Papers Abstract Because continuous-flow intersections (CFIs) are a relatively new intersection design, there are few existing guidelines for designing signal timings for CFIs. An appropriate signal-timing plan will maximize the capacity of the intersection, reduce congestion, and improve safety. This research developed a new signal-timing strategy for CFIs that is based on traffic progression.
