A routine blood parameter–based nomogram to predict prolonged fever in children with primary EBV infection
Abstract Objective: This study aimed to develop a clinical nomogram using routine blood parameters to identify the risk of prolonged fever (>1 week) in children with acute primary Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) infection. Methods: This retrospective study involved 791 hospitalized children with primary EBV infection. Patients were divided into two groups: fever duration ≤1 week and >1 week. Candidate routine blood parameters were screened through univariate analysis.
Case Report: Complement-mediated thrombotic microangiopathy masquerading as a pancreatic mass
Abstract Background: Complement-mediated thrombotic microangiopathy (CM-TMA) results from dysregulated alternative pathway activation. Although extra-renal manifestations are well-recognized, presentation as a pancreatic mass is exceedingly rare and risks misdiagnosis as malignancy, delaying critical intervention. Case presentation: A 28-year-old male presented with malignant hypertension and rapidly progressive renal impairment.

Abstract Objective: Blood-Heat syndrome is a core syndrome of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis (HSPN), yet its biological basis remains unclear. This study aimed to systematically elucidate the scientific basis of Blood-Heat syndrome within the context of HSPN and to identify its objective biomarkers using a multidimensional biological approach. Methods: In the clinical research part, we divided it into a discovery cohort and a validation cohort.
