Abstract The efficacy of anticancer treatments, including radiotherapy, depends on the activation of type I IFN signaling. However, its regulatory networks and mechanisms remain to be elucidated. Here, we report that tumor cell–intrinsic type I IFN signaling can be transferred to macrophages via secretory autophagy, inducing CXCL9hi macrophages and enhancing CD8+ T cell–mediated antitumor immunity.

Abstract Chemoresistance is a main reason for treatment failure in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, but the exact regulatory mechanism underlying chemoresistance in nasopharyngeal carcinoma remains to be elucidated. Here, we identify PJA1 as a key E3 ubiquitin ligase involved in nasopharyngeal carcinoma chemoresistance that is highly expressed in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with nonresponse to docetaxel-cisplatin-5-fluorouracil induction chemotherapy.

APA allows a single gene to encode multiple mRNA transcripts by changing the mRNA 3’UTR length and plays an important role in various physiological and pathological processes, including tumorigenesis [27, 30, 45, 46]. In this study, we performed genome-wide profiling of tandem APA sites in NPC and NNET tissues using SAPAS based on second-generation sequencing technology.
