The impact of gastronomic tourism experiencescapes on university students’ psychological restoration
ABSTRACT Under social pressure, college students' mental health has drawn increasing attention. Gastronomic tourism shows great potential as a healing approach, yet little research concerns psychological restoration within its experiencescapes.
From air quality forecasting to integrated and intelligent urban prediction systems
Abstract Air quality forecasting has evolved into a multi-component enterprise integrating chemical transport models, emissions, observations, data assimilation, and artificial intelligence. We argue that future progress will depend less on refinement of individual components than on integrating their interfaces across urban physics, atmospheric chemistry, machine learning, dense observation networks, human activity, and decision-making systems.
Analytics-Enabled Supply Chain Resilience in Electronic Commerce Contexts: The Roles of Organizational Agility and Top Management Participation
Electronic commerce is the primary context of this study because platform-based transactions, online demand signals, omnichannel fulfillment, and data-intensive coordination make supply chain continuity especially time-sensitive. Although electronic-commerce intensity was not directly measured or used as a sampling criterion, the study provides insights that are highly relevant to organizations operating in electronic commerce and digitally enabled supply chain environments.
Inactivation Kinetic Analysis of Lipase and Lipoxygenase in Rice Bran Through Cold Plasma Treatment
1 Introduction Rice bran (RB), a by-product of rice milling, has gained significant attention due to its remarkable nutritional and functional properties. As one of the most abundant agro-industrial residues, RB is rich in bioactive compounds such as lipids, proteins, dietary fibers, γ-oryzanol, polyphenols, and vitamin E, possessing biological activities such as antioxidant, antibacterial, anticancer chemoprevention, antidiabetic, and lipid-lowering effects (Peanparkdee and Iwamoto 2019).
External validation of AI assisted colposcopy using WHO dataset for cervical precancer and cancer detection
Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI)-guided colposcopy has previously been developed to assist colposcopists in detecting cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 or worse (CIN2+) and guiding biopsies, but internal testing of the AI model could overestimate diagnostic performance. We validated the performance of the AI-guided colposcopy on an independent WHO open-source set of 187 patients with 855 colposcopic images.

Innate immune sensor NOD2 promotes cartilage degradation and osteoarthritis progression by stabilizing TRAF6 in chondrocytes
Abstract Inflammation driven by the innate immune response plays a crucial role in osteoarthritis (OA) pathogenesis, yet the underlying mechanisms remain incompletely understood. Moreover, current antiinflammatory therapies primarily offer symptomatic relief without altering disease progression.
Column switching liquid chromatography dual mass spectrometry system for simultaneous untargeted metabolomics and targeted exposomics
Abstract Exposome-wide association studies (ExWAS) require the detection of metabolites and exposures with diverse chemical properties across wide concentration ranges, a task that typically demands multiple analytical methods. To address this challenge, we develop an integrated column-switching two-dimensional liquid chromatography-dual mass spectrometry (2DLC-dual-MS) system. This system employs a 2DLC setup to sequentially separate polar and non-polar compounds with log P ranging from −8 to 15.
Determinants of Implementing the 2024 Weight Management Guidelines in Overweight Patients with Coronary Heart Disease in China: A CFIR-Based Qualitative Study of Patient and Caregiver
Abstract Background The rising prevalence of overweight among patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) constitutes a critical clinical challenge. However, the multilevel determinants and patient-caregiver dynamics influencing the real-world implementation of the 2024 Weight Management Guidelines remain underexplored.
Regional diversity of cranial skeletal stem cells governs bone morphogenetic protein-2 mediated bone regeneration
Abstract Skeletal stem cells (SSCs), originally identified in 2015, are increasingly understood to exhibit significant heterogeneity throughout the body. Cranial SSCs provide a unique model to investigate this diversity because cranial bones arise from both neural crest and mesoderm, unlike mesoderm-derived long bones. Here, we show that cranial SSCs possess anatomically defined transcriptomic and functional heterogeneity.

Residential history and drinking water type as predictors of serum PFAS in communities with a history of contaminated drinking water
Abstract Drinking water is a major source of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) exposure in contaminated communities. Even after mitigation, residents may still have elevated serum PFAS levels; however, duration of elevated body burdens and influence of drinking water type (unfiltered tap, filtered tap, bottled) are poorly characterized.
Extreme climate disasters exacerbated the global inequalities in sustainable development
Abstract The frequent occurrence of extreme climate disasters worldwide poses a significant threat to the sustainable development of human society. We establish a panel data model to investigate the impacts of extreme climate disasters on global sustainable development inequality among countries, employing the entropy weight method to construct a composite SDG score, the Kakwani index to measure inequality, and a two-way fixed effects panel model for analysis.

Discovery of potent and highly selective sodium-dependent glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors for treating diabetic nephropathy
Abstract Inhibition of glucose reabsorption by SGLT2 in the kidney is a promising strategy for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. Adverse side effects of SGLT1 inhibition can be reduced by selective inhibition of SGLT2. Here, we developed an integrated virtual screening approach (combining drug-likeness analysis, pharmacophore model recognition, molecular docking experiments, and interaction analysis) to discover novel SGLT2 inhibitors.
