HIFU-driven remodeling of fibrotic perivascular myeloid niches in hepatocellular carcinoma: implications for PD-1/PD-L1 blockade
Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) usually develops within chronically inflamed and fibrotic liver tissue. This background creates an organ-specific immune niche in which macrophages, sinusoidal endothelial cells, activated stellate cells and extracellular matrix constrain T-cell access and sustain checkpoint-dependent tolerance.
Luvometinib in recurrent/refractory pediatric Langerhans cell histiocytosis: a single-arm, multi-center, phase 2 trial
Abstract Although mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway inhibitors have been approved for adult histiocytic neoplasms, none has been approved for pediatric Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). This single-arm, open-label, phase 2 trial (NCT05997602) evaluated the efficacy and safety of luvometinib, a MEK1/2 inhibitor, in recurrent/refractory pediatric LCH, regardless of genotypes.

Overexpression of Circular RNA circTTN Promotes Ferroptosis in Sepsis-Induced Cardiomyopathy
1 Introduction Sepsis is defined as the dysfunction of a system or organ due to the body's dysregulated response to inflammatory processes [1, 2]. If not identified promptly and addressed appropriately, it can result in shock, multiple organ failure and potentially fatal outcomes [3, 4]. With the characteristics of high morbidity and mortality, it has become the first major cause of death in acute and critical patients [5, 6].

City Daydreams: My 5 Oil Paintings
I’m an artist living and working between Los Angeles and Xiamen. In this series of oil paintings on paper, I try to capture fleeting moments from my everyday urban life—those instances when I find myself quietly drifting into my own world. I work mainly with oil and cold wax, building up layers that hold both density and translucency. The surfaces carry a sense of weight, yet they also feel fragile—like air or light that might dissolve at any moment.

A Sector-Balanced Approach to China A Mega-Cap Exposure
A simple top-50 China A portfolio may lead to an uneven sector-weight allocation relative to the broader market. This poses a challenge for investors who target balanced market exposure through mega-cap holdings. We analyze a novel sector-balanced approach to achieve market-like exposures that may help investors implement a strategic and tactical asset allocation in the China A market.
Considerations for Dedicated China Equity Allocations
As China further opens its financial markets, some investors appointed a dedicated program to look after the China-related investment opportunity set. Compared with an incremental setup, a “refinement” configuration of an equities program circumvents the need to completely change existing investment policy. Despite their relatively high risk over a long-term sample period, Chinese equities historically demonstrated consistent diversification benefits within a global equity portfolio.
