1 Introduction Farmers markets are often viewed as one of the primary methods beginning agricultural enterprises use to enter the market (Park et al. 2014). The existing literature has identified that regional and market-level characteristics are associated with vendor sales, resilience, and growth. The number (O'Hara et al. 2021a; Schmit and Gómez 2011) and variety of vendors at the market (Archambault et al. 2020) often positively correlate with customer counts and market sales.
