LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Blanchard Springs Caverns will officially reopen on March 9 Ozark-St. Francis National Forests' officials said in a press release. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the caves and officials will host public tours from March through November. The reopening will kick off with the "Dripstone Tour" which is an hour-long, one-half-mile tour that takes visitors through the beautiful upper level of the Caverns.

Garland Co. deputies investigating a possible Thursday night murder-suicide

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Deputies with the Garland County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a possible murder-suicide after they found two people dead Thursday night. At around 11: 25 p.m., the office received a call in reference to a shooting at a residence in the 300 block of Long Island Drive in Hot Springs. Deputies said when they arrived, they located a female identified as 26-year-old Bailey Nutt and 35-year-old Jordan Nutt both unresponsive inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds.
