How is social media changing news?
Everything is more accessible than ever. Instead of waiting to get news the next morning, anyone can read anything the minute it happens.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Lots of Google tools -- Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc. I also love Audacity for its simplicity when doing phone interviews.
Who do you wish followed you?
Anyone in the professional sports world -- especially MLB, NFL and NBA beat writers. To do that has been my dream since I was a child.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I loved working on a story about the life and career of up-and-coming UFC fighter Nate Landwehr.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I'm at my best in the early afternoon.
